The Wither Pad was designed by Heather Moffett to provide a shock absorbing cushion between the saddle and horse. This allows muscle regeneration and helps eliminate pressure over the withers, cushioning horses with muscle atrophy in the wither region.
The Wither Pad contains the same foam as the Backsaver Pad and Seatbone Saver, and is covered with washable cotton drill. It is shaped to fit snugly over the withers and up under the saddle.
